All pools should be fenced, but the weakest link in the fence is the gate and it should be alarmed. Any gate which allows young children easy access to a pool area should have a gate alarm.
Gate alarms have many benefits including alerting adults if a child opens the gate and enters the pool area, or if someone accidently leaves the gate open.
Remember: Always watch your kids around any body of water. Alarms are one way to add an extra layer of protection and is not a substitute for diligent child supervision or for suitable pool barriers.
